Speed Call 30
Description
This feature allows a subscriber to dial frequently called numbers using a short two digit code. A subscriber who has been allocated this feature can store and invoke frequently dialed numbers, each number being associated with a short code called a speed call dialing number.
A speed call dialing number is two digits in length.
Speed Call 30 provides the subscriber with a list containing a maximum of 30 stored numbers.
Operation
Storing a Speed Call Number:
1. Lift the handset. Dial tone is returned.
2. Dial the Two Digit Speed Call Update feature access code 75#.
3. A brief silence is followed by Recall Dial Tone.
4. Dial the Two Digit Speed Call number.
5. Dial the full number of the directory number which is to be stored.
A brief silence is followed by confirmation tone, indicating that the new number has been successfully stored in the Speed Call 30 Dialing List.
5. Replace the handset, or wait for the return of dial tone before entering the next number to be stored.
Using a Speed Call Number:
1. Lift the handset. Dial tone is returned.
2. Dial a digit from 20 through 49 to access the stored numbers.
After a four second delay, the call proceeds as though the actual directory number digits had been dialed.
A Speed Call 30 Dialing list may be changed by following the same procedure as that for storing a number. A complete number must be entered followed by receipt of confirmation tone otherwise the number previously stored will remain.
To delete an entry in a Speed Call 30 Dialing list, the number must be replaced with a new entry.
