Selective Call Forwarding

Description

This feature allows a subscriber to forward calls from any party that is programed on the subscriber’s Selective Call Forwarding list. The subscriber with Selective Call Forwarding active receives a ring reminder each time a call is forwarded, but cannot answer the ring reminder.

Operation

To activate Selective Call Forwarding:

1. Lift the handset. Dial tone is returned.
2. Dial the Selective Call Forwarding Activation feature access code. Recall dial tone is heard.
3. Dial the directory number to which the calls are to be forwarded. Audible ringing is heard if the destination is idle. When the call is answered, Selective Call Forwarding is activated.
4. If the destination is not answered, is busy or in Do Not Disturb, replace the receiver and repeat the activation procedure within two minutes. Confirmation tone is returned followed by dial tone.

To cancel Selective Call Forwarding:

1. Lift the handset. Dial tone is returned.
2. Dial the Selective Call Forwarding Deactivation feature access code. Confirmation tone is returned.
