Call Forwarding No Answer
Description
This feature allows a subscriber to have
all calls forwarded to another (selected)
directory number when the call remains unanswered
for a predefined period of time.
Operation
To set up Call Forwarding No Answer:
1. Lift the handset. Dial tone is returned.
2. Dial the Call Forwarding No Answer - Activation
feature access code78#. Recall dial tone is returned.
- Dial the directory number where calls are
to be forwarded. The call is completed normally,
and when the call is answered the forwarding
is activated for subsequent calls. If the
forwarding destination does not answer, is
busy, or has Do Not Disturb activated, the
Call Forwarding will be activated if the
subscriber repeats the set up procedure within
two minutes of the first attempt. This second
attempt will be followed by confirmation
tone to indicate successful feature activation.
- If this feature is not enabled, subscribers
attempting to set up Call Forwarding No Answer
will receive the intercept treatment programed
for ‘Service Category Violation’ in the Intercept
Handling Assignment view.
To Cancel Call Forwarding No Answer:
1. Lift the handset on the telephone which
is to have the feature canceled. Dial tone
is returned.
2. Dial the Call Forwarding No Answer - Deactivation
access code79#. Confirmation tone is returned.
3. The feature is deactivated. Replace the
handset.
